How to find Dunwich Beach
Suffolk / Southwold
Take the A12 north from Ipswich towards Lowestoft. Turn off after Saxmundham and shortly (1/2 mile) after Yoxford. following signs to Westleton and then Dunwich.
We use a simple colour coded key to display the amount of cottages nearby, the below shows the three different colours and the number range for each one from green through to red.

Thank you to the admin of this lovely website. After consulting your maps and pages today I took the dogs to this beach and wanted others to know how lovely it is. the beach car park is well signposted, huge and free. The café is warm and welcoming and the owners are lovely. lots of customers who just visit for the fish and chips, so must be good. I didn't try them today - but plan to go back again very soon. Very quiet beach and fortunately not windy today. you can walk along beach towards Waldesburgh? and then cut across the marshlands, through a forest and back to the car park doing a full circle walk, all signposted, it's part of the suffolk coastal path. took about 2 hours, then had a much needed proper cup of tea, served in a teapot an extra hot water for 1.75. fantastic. highly recommend this village and beach
