Cleaning and Litter

Gwynedd Council cleans the beach daily during peak season. both mechanically and manually. The beach accumulates litter and fishing debris.

Dog Information

Dogs are banned from the beach from April until September. dog bins are provided.

How to find Tal-y-bont Beach

Gwynedd / Barmouth

The beach is just off the A496. 6 miles south of Harlech and 4 miles north of Barmouth. Access to the beach is through the car park and takes about 5 minutes.

Nearby villages have a limited bus service. Cambrian Coastline (train) station is at Llanenddwyn nearby.
