Magnificent beach

Oct 24, 2014 by Helena Green

The blue flag beach here is fabulous. At high tide it is a mass of pebbles but you can walk along the path & across the sand dunes. At low tide the sand goes on for miles & stretches as far as the eye can see. It is a safe place for kids to play & the beach shelves gradually so it is excellent for swimming too.
There are plenty of free car parks along the one mile frontage. There are publics toilets which are very clean, outside showers, a big children's playground as well as The Caernarfon Airfield, several caravan sites, a cafe, a chip shop & a new gift shop & takeaway sandwich & cake shop.
If you are looking to get away from it all, then this is THE place to do it.
