Woolacombe Sand is within the Heritage Coastline and is backed by National Trust land and Morte Point to the north. which is also owned by the National Trust.

Dogs banned from a zoned area of the beach May - October. Dogs allowed in adjacent areas if kept on a lead.

Where is Woolacombe - Village Beach?

Devon / Woolacombe

From Barnstaple take the A361 Ilfracombe road and turn left at Mullacott Cross roundabout on to the B3343 for Woolacombe. Various paths. steps and slipways from the road and car park lead to the beach. Easy acces to the beach for disabled visitors.

Train station at Barnstaple and national coach services to Barnstaple and Ilfracombe. Regular bus services from Barnstaple and Ilfracombe.
