Nature and Wildlife

There are coastal walks to the west towards Gunwalloe. Loe Bar and Porthleven and to the east towards Polurrian. Kynance and the Lizard.

Cleaning and Litter

The beach is cleaned regularly from mid May to September by Kerrier District Council. There are bins on the beach. The beach suffers occasional pollution from litter.

Dog Information

Dog bins are provided but dogs are banned from the beach during Easter to October.

How to find Poldhu Cove Beach

Cornwall / Helston

Follow the A3083 from Helston - Lizard. past Culdrose Air Base. Cross the mini-roundabout towards Mullion. turn right 100m past the roundabout and follow the road for approximately 3 miles.

There is a bus from Helston directly to the beach.
